Our Origin Story

The Rotaract Club of KLE Law College was officially chartered in 2024, born from the vision of nurturing socially responsible leaders among law students. Our club was proudly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bengaluru Ullal, guided by its distinguished presidents, Rtn Sundresha and Rtn Sreekanth. Their leadership and unwavering support were instrumental in bringing this dream to life.

As presidents of the Rotary Club of Bengaluru Ullal during the club’s formation, Rtn. Sundresha and Rtn. Sreekanth provided mentorship, resources, and encouragement that helped lay the strong foundation for our Rotaract club. Their commitment to youth empowerment and community service inspired the students of KLE Law College to take up the mantle of service and leadership.

Under the energetic and visionary leadership of our Charter President, Rtr. Gagan M, the club was officially inaugurated and began its journey towards making a meaningful impact through various community projects, legal awareness campaigns, and leadership initiatives.

Together, this collaborative effort between the Rotary Club of Bengaluru Ullal and the students of KLE Law College has set the stage for a vibrant, active, and socially conscious Rotaract club dedicated to service above self.

Who Are We

We are a vibrant and dedicated group of young leaders and aspiring legal professionals who believe in “Service Above Self.” As part of the global Rotaract network, our club serves as a platform where students can translate their legal knowledge into meaningful community action.

Through various service projects, awareness campaigns, and leadership initiatives, we strive to make a tangible difference in society while nurturing our own growth.

Our Vision

Our Vision for the Rotaract Club is to create a club where every project we take up is successful, meaningful, and creates a positive impact in the community. We aim to strengthen collaboration within our club and with Rotary, other Rotaract clubs, NGOs, and the community. At the same time, we want every member to feel involved, valued, and encouraged to contribute. Through teamwork, meaningful projects, and strong collaborations, we hope to build a club where we grow together and create a lasting impact.

Our mission is to create meaningful change through impactful projects, strong collaboration, and active member participation. We aim to provide a platform where members can develop their leadership skills, connect with others, and contribute to the community.

Objectives

To successfully plan and execute meaningful community projects.

What Makes Us Unique

As a law college–based Rotaract club, we distinguish ourselves by integrating legal knowledge with hands-on social service. Our projects go beyond charity by promoting legal awareness, accountability, and empowerment. Whether through courtroom exposure or community kitchens, we balance legal insight with genuine social engagement.

Stepping into the Rotary Year 2026–27 as the President of the Rotaract Club of KLE Law College is an honour that comes with immense gratitude, excitement, and a responsibility I deeply value.

Every new year brings with it an opportunity to begin again to set new goals, embrace new challenges, and create something meaningful together. This year, as we move forward with the vision of “Creating Lasting Impact” and our club theme, “Celestial,” I hope we can look beyond simply accomplishing what is expected of us and strive to create a legacy that continues to inspire long after our year comes to an end.

The theme Celestial reminds us that every individual has a light of their own. Yet, it is when these lights come together that they illuminate something far greater. I believe that the strength of Rotaract lies precisely in this spirit of togetherness — in bringing together individuals with different ideas, talents, and perspectives, and giving them a platform to turn their intentions into action.

As we embark on this journey, I am reminded of the words: “It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” This year, let us choose to lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and act with courage. Let us choose to create initiatives that are meaningful, partnerships that are lasting, and memories that remain with us long after the year concludes.

I look forward to a year of learning, collaboration, service, and growth not only as a club, but as individuals. I am confident that with the dedication of our members, the guidance of our mentors, and the support of our partners and well-wishers, we can turn our collective vision into a year that truly makes a difference.
